Okay, so I fly out tomorrow. Which is awesome, but also terrifying. I dunno, I guess I just didn't figure I'd be as anxious as I am. It doesn't help that I only just really grasped what it meant to be traveling alone in a foreign country. I mean, I'm meeting my friend in Paris, but I have to fly to dublin, take a bus, then a ferry, then a train, to get there, all by myself, which was fine until my mom and dad got so worried. Then there's the fact that I realized that I am going to really miss my mom and dad. Didn't really expect that one, but damn, there it is. I'm gonna miss my parents. Weird. Not to mention my sea-bag is 40 pounds. + a backpack. + a heavy ass complete works of shakespeare. That I have to take with me, and it just makes my sea bag heavier. P.s. writing this all out is really helping my nerves. thank god for liverjournal. i said it. |

k, so I dreamt that evan's mom owned a comic shop in e-town, and the usual peeps were all hangin' out plus a couple of my friends from school and we decided to smoke. so we do. stumble around the shop for a bit and then all of a sudden we're in York's drama department doing this weird cross between undermilkwood and shakespeare |

I am gonna explode with stress and it's only the second day. Drury Lane, I blame you. The pay isn't even that good and I think it's causing me an ulcer. In other news, I was assigned a monologue of Romeo's. The Juliet is the Sun one, fun! um....yeah...stress and awkwardness. And fun and excitement. whatevs. |

I've officially made my professional debut in the Drury Lane Oakbrook production of Buddy Holly as Violinist/Ensemble member and as of tomorrow I get to actually speak and such as Ensemble/British DJ/Dion of Dion and the Belmonts. Getting paid to act, even if the pay is meager, rocks. |

Just auditioned for the part of Ritchie Valens in The Buddy Holly Story at Drury Lane. It wasn't my worst ever audition, but it fo' sho' wasn't a good one. Overall, I'm just excited to have officially auditioned for a non-school production. I'd be shocked to death if they cast me, but who knows, they might be desperate? Here's hoping. |
